fire of 68 copper lager
Pouring a rich copper hue that glows like the fiery skies of 1968, this lager honors the resilience and unity of the people who responded to the challenge. That year, when destructive wildfires raged northwest of Drayton Valley, firefighting personnel were taxed to an extent never experienced before.
And, needing manpower, they did what they had to… men were rallied from every corner—bars, restaurants, classrooms—even straight off the street—only to return days later after battling the blaze. With its bold, malty backbone and smooth finish, the Fire of '68 Copper Lager captures the strength and spirit of the locals who did what needed to be done in those days.
